Whether you have a nervous rescue dog, a cat that hates the carrier, or simply a busy schedule, Dr. Jennifer Torres provides personalized, high-quality medical care in your living room. We serve families in Ottsville and the surrounding Bucks County area.

In-Home Wellness & Health Exams

Routine care is vital for your pet’s longevity, but it shouldn’t be a traumatic experience. We perform comprehensive physical examinations right from the comfort of your couch or floor. We simply ask that the area be well-lit and free of excess clutter.

Note: For the safety and comfort of all involved, we do not perform examinations inside our vehicle.

Standard In-Home Visit

Cost: $132.00 (Includes visit fee + exam for one pet)
Additional Pets: $62.00 per additional exam

Anxiety & Fear-Free Handling

We understand that some pets are fearful or reactive in medical settings. You shouldn’t have to apologize for your pet’s anxiety—we are here to manage it.
For these patients, Dr. Torres brings a highly skilled assistant to ensure the exam is safe, quick, and fear-free. We allot up to 1.5 hours for these appointments to move at your pet’s pace.

Cost: $175.00
Pre-Visit Protocol: We will discuss calming medications prior to your appointment to help reduce your pet’s stress before we even arrive.

We provide full vaccine protocols tailored to your pet’s lifestyle and risk factors.

You don’t need a hospital visit to get answers about your pet’s internal health. We offer comprehensive bloodwork and diagnostic testing during our home visits.

Veterinary Telemedicine

Get professional guidance without an appointment slot. Our telehealth services connect you directly with Dr. Torres for advice on minor issues, chronic condition management, or behavioral concerns.

• Ideal for: Follow-ups, triage (“Do I need to go to the ER?”), and general wellness advice.
• Eligibility: Telehealth is available exclusively to established patients who have had a hands-on physical exam with Chasing Sticks within the last 12 months.

In-Home Euthanasia & End-of-Life Care

Saying goodbye is the hardest part of loving a pet. Our goal is to make this transition as peaceful and dignified as possible, allowing your family to say farewell in a familiar, private environment.

Dr. Torres guides you through the process with patience and deep respect. We proceed at your pace, ensuring your pet is pain-free and surrounded by love. For families with children, Dr. Torres can take the time to explain the process in an age-appropriate way to help them understand.

Aftercare Services

We partner with Abbey Glenn Crematorium to coordinate respectful after-life care based on your wishes:

• Private Cremation: Ashes returned to you.
• General Cremation: Ashes not returned.
• Home Burial: Guidance provided.

Advanced Care & Surgery (Partnership with DAMC)

What if my pet needs X-rays, ultrasound, or surgery?

While we handle the majority of care at home, some cases require advanced imaging or surgical intervention. For these needs, Dr. Torres maintains a close relationship with Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic (DAMC).

You get the best of both worlds: the convenience of a mobile vet and access to a state-of-the-art facility when medically necessary. Dr. Torres is available at DAMC on Wednesdays and Thursdays, ensuring continuity of care for your pet.
